Dr. Morton grew up locally on the Big Island, where he graduated from Kea’au High School and earned a Bachelor of Science from Antioch College. His early career as a firefighter and emergency medical technician sparked his passion for medicine, guiding him toward a medical degree from the University of Hawaii’s John A. Burns School of Medicine. He further honed his skills through an orthopedic residency at St. Luke’s University and Health Network, fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction at the University of Chicago, and an AO Trauma Fellowship in Berlin, Germany.

Dr. Morton is at the forefront of orthopedic surgery, pioneering robotic knee and hip replacement surgeries in Hawaii. His expertise in minimally invasive techniques and rapid recovery protocols allows most of his patients to walk unaided and leave the hospital on the same day of surgery. He has obtained certifications in various robotic-assisted joint replacement surgeries, including MAKO, Cori, Rosa, and Velys, offering cutting-edge options for his patients.
